Welcome to  underbellyink!

Underbellyink (formerly underbellypress) is the culmination of over 20 years of one artist struggling against the ebb and flow of the art industry in an attempt to make a name for himself. Nathan Kolander has moved from Minnesota to Texas and back

again over the course of 20 years and the only constant he’s had has been his art

and his family.

In October of 2000, Nate graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design from Brown College in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. Since then he has remained in the Graphic Design Industry while trying

to find a home for himself and his characters in the world of Comics and Graphic Novels.
